SharePoint Products

This product is packaged as a SharePoint Solution (WSP file) enabling you to easily deploy it to any SharePoint 2007 Server farm. Installation only takes a few minutes and you can just as easily uninstall it again. In any case, we recommend that you evaluate the product in a test environment before installing it to your production environment.

Installation Instructions

1. Log in as SharePoint Administrator on your SharePoint server - if you have a multi server farm, just pick any server to install from. Tip: Use the same login as used by the IIS application pool account for SharePoint Central Administration.
2. Download the CopyMove ZIP archive using the link above.
3. Extract the ZIP to a local folder of your choice on the server.
4. Run setup.exe and follow the on-screen instructions. Important: You cannot run setup.exe from a file share.
5. Open Central Administration and navigate to Operations -> Manage farm features.
6. Verify that the feature labeled CopyMove for SharePoint has been activated.
7. Activate CopyMove for all applicable Web Applications or Site Collections:
   • To activate CopyMove for all Site Collections in a Web Application, navigate to Central Administration -> Application Management -> Manage web application features and activate the feature labeled CopyMove for SharePoint.
   • To activate CopyMove for a single Site Collection, navigate to Site Collection Administration -> Site collection features and activate the feature labeled CopyMove for SharePoint.

   IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not activate the Site Collection feature if the Web Application feature is already activated or vice versa. The Copy/Move actions will otherwise appear twice in all lists and libraries.

8. CopyMove is now ready for use.

Uninstall Instructions

1. Log in as SharePoint Administrator on your SharePoint server.
2. Run setup.exe from the CopyMove folder and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. CopyMove is now retracted and removed from the SharePoint farm.

Evaluation License Included

The product comes with a free evaluation license limited to one Web front-end server and one unique user. Hence, you do not need to request any trial license to evaluate the product. However, you may contact support to request an extended trial license if you need to evaluate the product with more than one Web front-end server and one user.
